The convenience of being just a few steps from beautiful park views, made our city strolls even more good.

The grounds and common rooms provided a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, complemented by attentive yet unobtrusive staff. The spacious bathroom in the Junior Suite added to the comfort, even if amenities were a bit minimal, such as just one dressing gown for two guests. Dining was good, with standout dishes like crêpes enhancing the experience, although a longer food selection would be welcome.

Amazing stay in a beautiful setting

We just wrapped up a fab trip here! The gardens are unreal, and we spent hours just wandering. The room was nice, but the views could vary, best to check with them! Chow was great, esp. The small menu and bar. A tad pricey for extras, but overall, it was worth it.

Service during dining was slow at times, frustrating. The lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room was a disappointment, especially given the price we paid. I noticed some areas in need of maintenance, and there were a few inconsistencies with room size. The staff were friendly but a bit inconsistent in their service level. The charm of the location and gardens made it nice, but there are clear improvements needed in service and amenities.

The grounds are fine, perfect for long walks with the family between the trees and along the river, and I'll never forget the delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients that just made my day every morning

We had an amazing honeymoon at this beautiful hotel in milton abbot. The fine gardens and amazing views of the tamar river was so good. Relaxing on the lawn with champagne.

The gardens here feel like a secret paradise. I found myself wandering through enchanting glades filled with ancient trees and whimsical grottos. Dining was a good experience, especially the changing dinner menu that surprised us with delicious variations each night. This place is very nice! The library with afternoon tea and fine gardens. We really enjoyed evening walks by the river.

The atmosphere was totally nostalgic, dreamy, like something out of a fairytale. Had a lovely time in the gardens, the view is unbeatable and the food paired with local cider was something else-risotto that just melts in your mouth

Had a blast with friends at this lovely spot! We visited the New Mills Farm Park and enjoyed some table tennis at the lodge. The accommodations were comfy, and the service was on point.
